Fugue #Eight is a performance developed at Obx Labs with Jason Lewis, John Stuart and Kevin Lo as part of the saying red series.
Saying Red is a series of interactive installations exploring new forms of text-based expression. The installations use a combination of real-time video analysis, captured speech and dynamic typography to visualize the spoken word. The spoken word piece in the performance is an extension of a zine created by Kevin Lo and John Stuart called Four Minutes to Midnight. The piece consists of four movements with the second and third movements recieving a different typographic treatment from the first and fourth.
My role in this project included visual design and implementation of the software.
